Paradise Wild Animal Park is the first area to be transformed into an RPPN by KASA

It is an area of 24 hectares contiguous to the Carlos Botelho State Park, located in the municipality of São Miguel Arcanjo-SP.

Part of the Atlantic Forest Biosphere Reserve (RBMA), whose area was recognized by UNESCO, it was the first unit of the World Biosphere Reserve Network declared in Brazil.

The RPPN area includes the Paranapiacaba Mosaic, which is one of the most important areas of the Atlantic Forest, being formed by the Carlos Botelho, Intervales, Nascentes do Paranapanema and Turístico do Alto Ribeira (PETAR) state parks and the Xitué Ecological Station (In contiguous total of more than 148,000 hectares).

Exemption from the Tax on Rural Territorial Property (ITR) referring to the area created as RPPN;
Priority in the analysis of projects, by the National Environment Fund - FNMA;
Preference in the analysis of requests for granting agricultural credit, with official credit institutions, for projects to be implemented in properties that contain RPPN in their perimeters;
Possibilities for cooperation with private and public entities in the protection, management and management of the unit.
Official guarantees for the defense of the natural heritage existing in the property;
